In need of a new art icon
Thanks to Funday Monday's topic on
doctor_rose_fix, I've spent this week on new art and old art. And for once I don't mean crafts.
...though I have worked on those too....

Done just today if you can read my date/signature there and sorry for the poor quality, I was too lazy to actually scan the image and only took a picture instead. After the scary image of Ten on that one post, along with the comment about some magical aura keeping David Tennant from being drawn properly, I had the impulse to try my hand at it. This wasn't going to shading on it originally but I feel in love with the creases and decided I might as well do the whole thing after I finished his shirt. This has also cause the image to be half realism and half illustration but it kinda works I think. :) Done with just my mechanical pencil in about an hour and some change.

Alice is obviously not done yet (clothing needs more shading/highlights), but her drawing is a better representation of my illustration style. Original line drawing was done in pencil and then inked. Coloring is all done via Photoshop. I have a Hatter picture I'll be giving the same treatment already drawn but sadly, I can't say it will be done any time soon. These CG ones take much longer to do and Alice has been wearing me thin.
Plus, ya know, there is the matter of all the writing I didn't get done this week thanks to these two pieces. DX
Anyway, just thought I'd share. Feel free to let me know if you like them though. ^_^

Should look lovely once colored. Still working on a clean up of the scan right now though.
